Archery Moose Hunts

We conduct six early season moose hunts each fall.  Two each in zones 511, 524, and 527.  These are fully guided 2 on 1, or 1 on 1 hunts.  Archery hunts are a combination of spot and stalk, and stand hunting.

Due to the generally lower harvest success rate than rifle hunting, we recommend 1 on 1 hunts for archery moose.

Hunts are by ATV, walking, and occasionally canoe or boat depending on water levels.  All of our moose zones have navigable waterways.  Moose numbers are currently very good in all of northern Alberta.  Three mild and low snow winters combined with an exceptionally high calf survival rate have drastically increased moose population in all areas.

For these hunts, clients must have a reasonable level of physical fitness and above average proficiency with their equipment.
